A KALTBLUT EXCLUSIVE. Motivated by the urgency to create, after months of confinement, photographer Edward Córdoba and partner Andreas Sichel teamed up with model Miguel Rodman and Make Up artist Rodrigo Galo and Prado Nuñez to create the editorial “Confined”, an exploration through makeup and beauty photography of the different concepts and emotions we went through during lockdown.
“After many months of fear and lockdown, we finally were able to get together and create; somehow we needed to exteriorise many feelings and emotions, and this editorial is the result of that.”
Bold beauty looks with strong brush strokes, sculptural 3D creations and rich textures photographed, both in film and digital, on a sober grey background, are the team´s interpretation of different concepts such as face masks, fear and confinement, cracked spirits and floating emotions.
Born in Colombia and based in Spain, Edward Córdoba is a photographer whose playful spirit and curious mind explores beauty and identity through fashion and portraiture. Taking inspiration from both classical and contemporary aesthetics, he is finding a formula to combine his admiration for fashion and romanticism with his bucolic, defiant and colorful childhood and upbringing in South America.
