my haters are like stars – nobody can count them

A KALTBLUT exclusive. The designer is Larissa Pascale Binder. Photography by Marc Lunardi. “my haters are like stars – nobody can count them“ – a discussion with many questions on inequality, concern for the environment, fears for the future – a concept which aims to achieve sustainable solutions and design ideas by means of fashion – a collection which presents these ideas on different visual levels as well as being a tactile experience.

The focus is on issues relevant to complex social contexts with a critical analysis. The aim is to address these not just in a superficial and obvious way. The collection is a suggestion of how alternative concepts and ways with fashion can be communicated and commented upon and show resistance.

Larissa Pascale Binder is a young just graduated fashion designer from Germany.

With her work, she connects creativity with the human body. The influence of daily life, status quo, social movements, changes and farsighted sources are the constant inspiration that allows the possibility to transfer feelings, meanings, expressions and to communicate those with and through fashion. Furthermore, opposites and the tension of contrasting elements are enriching her inspiration topics and are completing the development and the conception of her created fashion collections.
