New Balance announces the release of the XC-72 silhouette. This is the most modern and progressive model within the Shifted collection, which also includes the popular 327 and 237 models. The shoe was developed to embody the trend of retro-futurism, which “describes the future from the perspective of the past and the past from the perspective of the future,” says product manager Alana Burton.
The new model will be available from September 3rd on newbalance.de and in selected shops worldwide. Further color variations will follow in autumn. The sales prices are between € 120 and € 130.

The XC-72 is a unisex model with a triple-structured sole and a carbon rubber outsole, which is a modern interpretation of the brand’s famous retro runner silhouette. In keeping with New Balance’s commitment to using more sustainable materials, the model is made of chrome-free leather and suede.
