Dominic LaChance, based in Montreal, is a published and awarded photographer fascinated by portrait and street photography. Having had his work published across large publications in the US and in Canada, he strives to pursue a natural mood in his shots as a contrast to studio lighting and flash photography. “I am obsessed with capturing moods and feelings in my photography through my subjects eyes and body expression. Portrait photography is the best way to immortalize someone, but also to make the viewer feel a mood that is almost palpable. This series was shot in studio, recreating a natural light environment; It is a suggestion of a balance of feminine and masculine energy, expression and sexuality.”
