These games provided sometimes secret and safe spaces to explore a certain femininity in a now nostalgic way. The shoot reflects a learned confidence formed in the html games. The sense of unapologetic fun and dress up is translated into real life after spending hours hunched over the computer during tween & teenage years. The end of flash player marks a turning point in the interactive dress up games losing those which we grew up playing. However now as adults we are our own avatars clicking and dragging our own outfits, personalities and identities.
