On Youth And Industry

A KALTBLUT exclusive. Inspired by Lewis Hine’s brutal and monochromatic focus on youth and industrialism, photographer Tobias Valentin teamed up with designer Ecehan Altikardes to create the editorial ‘On Youth And Industry’. Tobias Valentin is a multidisciplinary visual artist and recent graduate of Photographic and Visual Communication Studies. Based in Copenhagen and Barcelona, he works with queer and feminist fashion photography, fine art and activism. Ecehan Altikardes is a fashion design student from the Pforzheim University in Germany. He created the collection ‘Lewis’ taking a modern perspective on the relationship between our present youth and an industrial environment.
