Oriana by Adrián Mora & Alex Márgary

Adrián Mora and Alex Márgary work closely as photographer and stylist and throughout their work, they’ve learned to start conversations on topics they think need to be talked. This project in particular was based primarily on the topic of skin. With subjects like BLM and the misrepresentation in media of less visible ethnics, they decided to focus on the beauty and the permanence of skin. Model is Oriana. Make up by Alejandra la Torre. “This editorial is minimalistic both in aesthetic and production, with just a velvety draped red backdrop, Oriana sports nude and beige attire with natural hair and makeup. Beauty lies both in the organic and the authentic nature of the subject and our desire was to enhance it without the need for anything more than skin tones.”
