There is nothing quite like watching the next generation of fashion completely take over the city, and honestly, we absolutely loved every single second of this show. On Friday, July 3rd, the powerhouse team at PLATTE Berlin shifted the Berlin Fashion Week energy into overdrive with PLATTE X LETTE—a breathtaking outdoor presentation that completely redefined how we showcase emerging talent. Taking over the cinematic grounds of Atelier Gardens in Berlin-Tempelhof, the event proved once and for all that young designers don’t need a waiting room; they deserve the biggest, most visible stages right now.

The setting was pure magic. The runway kicked off way up on the rooftop terrace of Atelier Gardens, offering a panoramic view over Tempelhofer Feld, before the models descended the building’s industrial-yellow staircase. They wound their way through the garden paths, moving gracefully between lilies, birches, and dense summer greenery. The contrast between the raw, structural garments and the organic landscape was brilliant.

Nine fourth-semester students and graduates from the LETTE class of 2025/26 presented their collections, and the sheer talent on display was staggering. We saw incredibly great designs moving seamlessly between high fashion and avant-garde costume design. Experimental construction met technical precision, with heavy silhouettes built entirely with movement and stage presence in mind.
But it wasn’t just the garments that blew us away—the execution was entirely next level. The styling was incredibly sharp, and the hair and make-up were absolutely on fleek, perfectly amplifying the distinct attitude of each collection. To elevate the energy even further, the first model of each designer’s segment carried a massive flag bearing their name. For the finale, all nine flags were raised together on the plateau—a powerful, emotional image of visibility, authorship, and undeniable arrival.

Huge congratulations to the nine designers who left their definitive mark on the city: David Sandersfeld, Jan Philipp Teuber, Josina Murru, Lars Heininger, Pauline Barke, Sofia Scharf, Victor Marchand, Maja Krüger, and Marie Braband. With brilliant creative direction and choreography by Elodie Carstensen and Marie Zechiel, and strong backing from the Wirtschaftsförderung des Bezirksamts Tempelhof-Schöneberg, PLATTE presents didn’t just showcase the future—they made it impossible to ignore.
