Borbonese @ Salone del Mobile

“On the occasion of the 2021 Salone del Mobile, Borbonese collaborated with the internationally renowned artist Pawel Grunert, inaugurating on September 4 a showcase dedicated to the theme of sustainability in the flagship stores in Milan, Turin and Lugano.

The historic Turin brand reconfirms its approach to sustainability through the relentless search for less polluting materials and production techniques: in particular the connection with Pawel Grunert arises from the relationship between the nylon of Borbonese obtained from the recycling of plastic bottles and the realization through the same technique as the works of the Polish designer.

The showcases displays the Dunette, the Maison’s flagship bag, and the SIE43 armchair produced with recycled plastic bottles (2009) in Milan and Turin, while in Lugano two stools created exclusively by the artist.”
