Project In A Classy Way: Learn From Pros

Being classy is an attractive quality for both of the genders. Many think that money is what brings class, but they couldn’t be more wrong. A lot of the classiest people we know came from a humble background, including Coco Chanel herself, who said, “Some people think luxury is the opposite of poverty. It is not. It is the opposite of vulgarity.” Taking care of how you dress isn’t the only way you can protect yourself in a classy way. Your behaviour, personality traits, and manners matter the most when you are trying to come off as elegant and graceful. There are many tips and hacks you can follow to present yourself in a better way, here are a few of them.

Manners Are Everything

Being self-centred, arrogant, rude, talking down to people, and many other bad characteristics can ruin how people perceive you completely. The media are constantly showering young adults with shows that will often give the wrong example of how should a person behave. Luckily, it’s never too late to change the image you want to represent to people. Here are some examples of things you should never do.

  • Gossiping and creating drama: Whenever there is drama in any group or gossip traded around, people are quick to assume that girls are usually behind that behaviour, but it’s actually quite common between men as much as women. Creating drama or participate in nourishing it. If there is a story about someone you know passed around, be the one to stop the story from getting any more attention.

  • Being disrespectful: You should treat your janitor or any service provider the same way you are treating your boss. People for some reason stopped saying “please” and “thank you” like it was cool to adopt a disrespectful character or something.
  • Raising your voice: Loud people are the most despised people in any public place. Whether you are a naturally loud person, or you are a person with a bad temper, learn to control the level of your voice in public -or really anywhere- as it’s completely disrespectful to the surrounding people. Learn how to control your anger. People will always be attracted to the person who never loses their cool no matter what.

Dress And Live Better

We all use our clothes and style to make statements about ourselves. You don’t have to throw away all your old clothes and max out your credit card to add sophistication to your wardrobe. Don’t make the mistake of listening to someone else on how you should be dressing or acting. Your personal style should only be inspired by others, but not copied from them. Always trying new things or aspiring to become a better version of who you are is what keeps us going. Even if you are only to daydream about a cruise to Hawaii or trying to get a gym membership, find the ways you can be happier and healthier in, and people will see you classier.

First Impressions Don’t Last Forever

If you have been doing all the wrong things, and you think you have made some unforgettable scenes in your office, school, or between your friends, it’s still not too late. There is always a chance to change people’s impressions on you. Personal hygiene, your table manners, and your overall behaviour are the most important elements you need to build the foundation of your personality on.
