Introducing fashion designer Zuzana Radicova from Vienna. Punkti Punkti Strichi Strichi` was inspired by childhood memories. “The outfits from the collection should give you the impression, that they could have been realized from a children’s drawing. I find the fact how children draw clothes fascinating. There is so much imagination and ease to it, everything seems two-dimensional, naive, obvious, yet pure. Rather than thinking and designing with the intention of a garment being practical and wearable, I tried to let go and just started to create. To achieve the two-dimensionality I used Neoprene as a main fabric. To break the stiffness of the looks, I chose fringe and placed it on different areas, for example to playfully represent the intimate part of a woman. As a whimsical twist I used Ironing beads to create the Accessories of the collection. The collection is influenced by various Artist such as Wes Anderson, Roy Lichtenstein and Katsushika Hokusai.”
