Styling by Phoebe Vos. “This series is a part of my graduation project, focussing on masculinity and femininity in fashion photography, and trying to appreciate the beauty of that without trying to judge in terms of rights and wrongs. In this series I reflected upon my youth, watching The Bold and the Beautiful with my mother, being amazed by all the glam. For me there’s a sincere authenticity in something as seemingly flat as the Bold and the Beautiful, from silk gowns in countless weddings to oiled-up naked torsos, feeding to the imagination of many boys’ brains.”

“I’m a fashion photographer from the Netherlands, which I have discovered just about two years ago. I am currently graduating from the Dutch Photo Academy. I have always had a love for fashion, just not the balls to acknowledge it. I pursue to explore the dynamics of unedited realities in stylized scenes, inspired by 80s and 90s fashion photography. I shoot on film and create still as well as moving visuals.
