Makeup and Hair by Maria Lara. “Dief was born three years ago in Valencia out of the need to show our class work and from the beginning, we realized that we both shared very similar tastes, aesthetics and inspirations. similar, that’s why we say create a proposal that unites all of this and represents us as a brand.”
“We want our aesthetics to have a strong identity, where we manage to create a universe in which you see yourself immersed the moment you identify one of our garments. This is something very complex to create, and for which all brands work, Dief we have managed to capture that attention and for this, we are going to continue working to establish ourselves as a brand.
For this new proposal that we have presented at the Allianz EGO 23 Showroom, we wanted to make individual garments, which did not have the same inspiration, but rather all of them had the same guiding thread with the aesthetic that identifies Dief so much, full of prints and colours.
On the other hand, we wanted to find a brand identifier that would accompany us over time. It is about two dolls called ́ ́Tog ́ ́ and ́ ́Ether ́ ́. Tog is in the shape of a heart, symbolizing the love we feel towards Dief, and towards our work in the brand, and Ether is a butterfly, symbolizing the feeling of freedom, liberated by everything we do.
One of the important points for us in this edition of the Allianz EGO 23 Showroom was to give other emerging brands the opportunity to have their products in the Showroom, for this reason
We did different collaborations with artists from other disciplines, such as @ayquechuloaalorenzo jewellery, @muzs.i ceramics, @trashyqueen bags and @nataliamedellin illustration, thanks to them the Dief uni- verse also reaches beyond our expectations.”
