Youthquaker

A KALTBLUT exclusive. Photography by Gustavo Chams. The model is Daniel Suarez. Styling by Lope Trujillo. Make-up and Hair by Jada Arriola. Coined in 1965 by Vogue magazine’s editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland, the term youthquake was created to refer to a generation of rock-n-roll teenagers and young adults of the mid-60s that were revolutionizing the world.

This was the first time a fashion-forward youth attitude penetrated the fashion world, creating an impact we still feel today.

This editorial story brings forward the youthquake of this new generation: young, fearless gender-bending and unapologetically queer.
