DURCH is a queer collective with a clear vision of solidarity and community building. DURCH operates in Tel Aviv and Berlin trying to bring queer people together, building a culture of inclusion, diversity and tolerance. In the tradition of original raves, DURCH organizes solidarity events ranging from parties, to art and community events, with the strong belief that raves are a much-needed place for people to come together, celebrate their diversity and learn to respect each other. Musically DURCH is eclectic inspired by hardcore, straightforward techno, ghetto and scouse house and 90s acid. Kandy K – Berlin/Tel Aviv – DURCH resident – Fast, quirky, genre-blending, emotional, sexy, seductive, sincere sound salads.

This podcast frames the the EP release “utopia glitches”  wit our vision of queer underground techno. It is the equivalent of a long look in the eyes and the sweat on ur body. Its  the beauty of the unknown. Its a hardcore glitch of our utopia. A reminder of what could be.

“In trying times like these it is of uttermost importance to not lose one’s ability to imagine different realities. In a time where our sense for the ‘what could be’ is numbed, our horizon is limited, maybe we should envision a bold, bright, beautiful future.

Try to think about the most impossible, most outrageous form of beauty, a community truly made only out of love, acceptance and equity. An unreachable ideal, a utopia. In a time where physical contact is limited and our only means of communication and support for each other as a community is made possible through digital media, we should not forget how important physical experiences are, especially for us queers.

DANCE DIVINE

We can build a community online but with its cracks and glitches, it reveals itself as less than enough, less than a full experience. Physical spaces, physical touch, physical sensation are important! And we want to encourage you to imagine a place where we can all come together and embrace each other, sweat with each other and dance euphorically together, feeling one with the beat. In the meantime, we want to offer you what we can, a digital glimpse of hope. The equivalent of a long look in the eyes.
A reminder of what could be. As usual, all the profit is donated to queer causes!

The revenue of this release goes to TransInterQueer e.V. (TrIQ) and Casa Kuà

morphing utopia

The series of photographs highlights the queer scene. It focuses on showing vulnerability and marking diversity and not reproducing stereotypes or cliches. The goal for the shoot was to show empowerment and sexiness to all bodies and reduce toxic masculinity in our scene.
