“I am Katrina Knizikeviciute, a London based creative director, model, fine arts artist and fashion designer of Bajoras bespoke. “EGO Circus” is the most recent Bajoras collection, inspired by Eckhart Tolle’s book ‘A New Earth’. The collection tells a story about the human detachment from his true ‘self’ and how having an excessively dominant ego is a persons source of pain, be it some sort of rusting pain from the past or simply unresolved insecurities. Many of us attempt to brush these issues under the carpet and deny ourselves a chance to heal by putting on a ‘mask’, of some sort. This gives birth to a self convincing performance that many start to identify themselves as, but in truth this is nothing more than their character (ego). The message: Don’t take yourself so seriously, drop the mask, embrace your vulnerability and trust that the real you is worth yourself and the world getting to know.
The concept of the collection is visualised in our photoshoot, showing the journey of a person transitioning from their true self to their character, using the garments, prosthetics and symbolism.”
