“The editorial ‘Bright Young People’ was made by me (Veronica Brunoni) along with the stylist Elena Mangiarotti. We graduated together at the Liceo Artistico in Parma where a great friendship began. Later we took different paths: I attended the school of photography Bauer and Elena studied communication at the University of Bologna, but we never strayed. Now we both live in Milan. In the last year, we decided to work together to create some editorials. Bright Young People is the latest project developed by us. We requested the collaboration of the Waxman clothing brand, which gave us the opportunity to choose among its garments. We have chosen our models among common youth so that their expressions would not be oriented by professional schemes. The project’s approach is to avoid all limitation on us and our collaborators. Hence our decision to work with people very close to us (from make up artists to all models).”
