“The idea of this editorial is to use the relationship of trust between Ese and myself, portraying my way of conceiving him throughout the camera. Bringing together my personal universe which is intimate and sensitive in contrast to a more aggressive aesthetic, using fashion. Hence, portraying not only the essence of a person in a lighter landscape but also a transition in which garments are abandoned, leading to a more personal and vulnerable state.”

“I’m Mariona Calathea, a photographer based in Barcelona. I’m 22 years old and last year I graduated in Photography and Digital Content in Idep Barcelona. I was an intern for 6 months in Paloma Wool and I collaborated with brands like Aniela Parys and Latón Breve.
Photography is my principal tool to connect with myself and the others. I like to be transparent and vulnerable with my work and I try that my aesthetic reflects this too. The medium that I use is analogic, in particular in medium format.”
