Late summer drop, from Berlin label novicewear! A clothing brand that explores new shapes through traditional workwear references and materials. Founded by Magnus Aske Blikeng in 2019, it was born out of a desire to understand the social and pragmatic role of workwear today, while creating long-lasting, utilitarian clothing. #Shapesforfutureworkwear
I started my label last year, based on the idea of interpret the abstract meaning of work and the clothing that goes with it. The recent drop was produced in Berlin, as I wanted to find ways to work with local ateliers and designers, as most of their orders had dropped to Covid and for me to have an opportunity to collaborate closer with people, primarily to create something that is grounded in the city.
